Our Facilities

Our 30,000 square metre facility includes a variety of amenities to build life skills within a safe space and prepare the students for integration within the greater community. Sanad Village is equipped with multiple indoor and outdoor facilities for exercise and sensory experiences as well as to enable simulated real life scenarios that facilitate a smooth transition towards independence.

Sanad village has boarding residential units with great outdoor views, offering comfort and round the clock care to our full-time residents. The section allows Sanad Village to extend its welcome to People of Determination coming from outside UAE.

Below are the list of facilities we offer to our community

Classrooms

Classrooms

Our fully equipped classrooms are used to teach academic and social skills. Children are also accompanied by therapists for an integrated learning experience enabling all learning to extend beyond the classroom environment.
Residential

Residential

Sanad village has boarding residential units with great outdoor views, offering comfort and round-the-clock care to our full-time residents. The section allows Sanad Village to extend its welcome to People of Determination coming from outside the UAE.
Outdoor Exercise

Outdoor Exercise

We encourage an active life style for all our students. During the cooler months, the outdoor exercise areas, jogging and cycling tracks provide plenty of opportunity for sports and strength building that can build confidence as well as muscle.
Playgrounds

Playgrounds

Play is an essential part of learning. We place great emphasis on providing outlets for sensory and kinesthetic play that helps with motor skills and co-ordination. Most importantly, we want our children to have fun and interact with their peers.
Indoor Exercise

Indoor Exercise

Our fully equipped, sensory gym that includes a rock climbing wall, helps to develop age-appropriate motor skills, build muscle tone, and promote breathing control. Older children can also benefit from carefully constructed exercise programs, which are led by a physical therapist.
Library

Library

Stocked with books and publications for all ages, our library also functions as a quiet space. Reading and learning through books complements our educational programme.
Urban Farm

Urban Farm

The outer grounds of Sanad Village, in The Sustainable City Dubai, are landscaped to include allotments, community gardens and biodomes. Sanad Village students have access to this urban farm allowing them to get their hands dirty and learning valuable lessons about food production and nature.
Biodome

Biodome

Inside the shaded and cooled biodomes, our children can learn about the various plants grown in our urban farms as well as small scale fish farming. They can also interact with other animals such as chicken, goats and donkeys in the surounding areas.
Theatre

Sanad Village has a fully-equipped movie theatre fitted with appropriate levels sound and lighting that ensures the comfort of children who may suffer from overstimulation.
Simulated Kitchen

Simulated Kitchen

Learning to cook or preparing basic meals is a life skill we hope to empower every one of our students with. Whilst safety is an utmost priority, we take pride in being able to offer a simulated kitchen to introduce each child to this environment at an appropriate time along their journey.
Arts and Crafts Rooms

Arts and Crafts Rooms

Our education-based approach also places an emphasis on creativity to aid with the learning process. Sanad Village has a variety of facilities for students to take part in arts and crafts, music, woodwork, clay and pottery.
Dubai Police

Dubai Police

In coordination with Dubai Police, Sanad Village is committed to protecting and empowering our students. With our on-site police facility, we can introduce our children to first responders so that if they meet them outside of Sanad Village they will not be frightened and can ask for help if needed.

Sanad Airways has a mini terminal inside of the facility, which has been designed specifically for families to help ease the stress of flying. Under supervision, our children can experience travel through our simulated airport, which can be an invaluable lesson to take before embarking on an actual trip.

Carpentry

Experimenting with different materials engages the five senses allowing for learning and development of gross and fine motor skills. Our supervisied carpentry room is available to all students to build confidence and creativity.
Clay Room

Clay Room

Clay is a therapeutic medium that can work to stablise emotions and express imagination. Sanad Villlage has a pottery room as part of the overall arts and crafts faciliites that build confidence and motor skills.
